David S. King MRFC

David is a seasoned financial professional with nearly three decades of experience in the financial advisory industry, having started his career in 1995. A graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management and a minor in Accounting, David specializes in helping clients establish firm financial foundations for a secure retirement, create tax-efficient income strategies, and develop successful transition plans for their heirs.

David’s approach is client-centered, focusing on helping families achieve their financial and life goals. His dedication to his clients is matched by his commitment to building long-lasting relationships and guiding them through life’s financial complexities.

Outside of his work, David enjoys an active family life with his wife, Melissa, and their five children: Maddie (husband Shaun), Max, Micah (wife Grace), Mia, and Molly Anne. They are also proud grandparents to two grandsons, Keegan and “Shep.” David and Melissa host Sunday evening family dinners, where they gather with their loved ones.

David is also deeply involved in his church, where he has served in various roles, including deacon, elder, Sunday School teacher, and youth small group leader. In addition to his church commitments, he volunteers with Junior Achievement and the Rotary Club of Pleasantburg. In his spare time, David enjoys sports, reading, teaching, and attending family activities such as dance conventions, school plays, and grandkids' soccer games.

David and Melissa reside in Easley, SC, where they are active members of their community.
